Austin Conducts JCSO: Vietnam Tour “Connecting Vietnamese-American Melodies”


Austin conducts the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra on their international tour in Hanoi, Vietnam. This is part of the 30th anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between the U.S.A and Vietnam. This trip is sponsored by

Repertoire includes Bernstein’s Candide Overture, Copland’s Four Dances from Rodeo, Strauss II’s By the Beautiful Blue Danube, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, and Vietnamese orchestral music including Pizzicato Việt Nam and Hướng Về Hà Nội (Towards Hà Nội)
